As of May 14, 2020 the Safer LA Order was loosened to open parks, beaches and trails, but face masks are required at all times when out and beach parking lots are closed.
Per the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health as of May 18, 2020, 176 cases of COVID-19 have been reported within the community of Watts, up from 163 on May 14. Please be safe as orders loosen through out the city and and we attempt to live in a new norm. Please remember that the pandemic is still very present and we must do our part to protect ourselves, our loved ones and community. Let’s flatten the curve in Watts by continuing to practice Social Distancing by keeping 6 feet between you and another not from your household IN ADDITION to wearing the mandated face mask when you are out and about. Be safe and stay strong Watts!
